Cherry Blossoms

I went to the Cherry Blossom festival in Youido(an island) a few weeks ago. I was very excited to see the Cherry Blossom and I love going to festivals. But I was very disappointed. After church on Easter sunday I was very excited to go and see flowers and a festival. I went with my recruiting agency so I could meet some new people. We took a ferry to Youido Island where the festival was to be held. When we got to the island there were soo many people there. There were many vendors and flowers everywhere. I just wanted to go to the festival but since it was promised that we would end up at the festival after the tour of the island my friend Tina and I followed the group. We did not end up at the festival. We walked the whole island and ended up in a park where I saw this ghostly or ghastly looking woman. I was very upset I wanted to see things and take pictures with the flowers. So Tina and I hiked back to where the festival was being held (more than a mile away from where we were). We took pictures with some flowers and returned home not seeing any of the festival. I have problems with my ankle so I'm not able to walk long distances but in Korea all you do is walk. So I was exhausted and sweaty to top it allll off I had blisters on my feet. It was time to go home. Which we had to walk alot and up and down stairs. But the flowers were beautiful and being out in the sun was great.
